BROADHEAD BREWING AND TEAM HOMAN LAUNCH CANADIAN GOLD BEER
Ottawa-based brewery becomes Official Beer Partner of Team Homan through 2030, celebrating the partnership with the debut of Canadian Gold
OTTAWA, ON (Nov. 3, 2026) — Team Homan and Broadhead Brewing announce a multi-year partnership, bringing together two Ottawa-based brands with a shared connection to community and sport. As Team Homan’s Official Beer Partner through 2030, Broadhead Brewing has teamed up with the athletes to launch Team Homan Canadian Gold, a Golden Ale created for curling fans.
Canadian Gold is a refreshing, easy-drinking beer with a 4.6% ABV, featuring light floral and cereal notes, low bitterness and a clean finish. The beer is now available for purchase through Broadhead Brewing.
As part of the multi-year partnership, Broadhead branding will appear on Team Homan’s jerseys at Grand Slam of Curling events and other competitions. The collaboration will also extend beyond the ice through athlete appearances, social and digital content, and fan activations.
“There’s something really special about partnering with a company from our own community,” said Rachel Homan, Skip of Team Homan. “Broadhead Brewing has built a great local following here in Ottawa, and we're thrilled to have them on board for the next four years. Having our own beer is a pretty great way to kick things off, and we can't wait for curling fans to try Canadian Gold."
"Built on shared values of community, hard work and excellence, the partnership between Team Homan and Broadhead Brewing felt like a natural fit," said Jamie White, CEO and Co-Founder of Broadhead Brewing Company. "I grew up in a small Canadian town where sport was at the centre of bringing people together, and curling continues to play that role in communities across the country. At Broadhead, we've always believed beer is simply the vehicle. What really matters is creating connections and bringing people together around shared experiences. Team Homan embodies many of the qualities we admire: dedication, teamwork, perseverance and a commitment to inspiring the next generation. We're excited to build something that goes beyond sponsorship, giving fans new ways to celebrate and connect with one of Canada's most accomplished teams."
Team Homan Canadian Gold is available for purchase at Broadhead Brewing's online shop.
About Broadhead Brewing
Broadhead Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery that is a celebrated staple of Ontario’s craft beer industry. Founded in 2011 by four friends with an engineering spirit, Broadhead famously built its roots on a makeshift 20L garage rig. Driven by a relentless work ethic, they overcame tight startup capital by retrofitting their own equipment. Today, operating out of a massive facility in Orléans, the brewery is known for its community-driven ethos, famously partnering with Canada’s hockey star Emily Clark to launch Canada’s first pro-female athlete-inspired beer. Broadhead's journey from a humble garage to a recognized Ontario craft brewery over the last 15 years and over 225+ recipes later perfectly mirrors Team Homan’s calculated precision, strategic execution, and a shared dedication to uniting communities across Ontario.
